anyone up for shots?

ok so sunday evening amy g. came up to me and asked if i was ready or excited to get shots the following afternoon...too bad that initially i was thinking shots of alcohol...not immunizations...and apparently everyone else was thinking that too. anyhoo i have a feeling that is one of those stories you just had to be there for it to actually be funny so i'm going to move on.

so i picked amy up on monday late as i often am but still with plenty of time to get to independence (where the jackson county health department is). we got there close to 3pm which is when our APPOINTMENT was. and well yeah ill let the first video explain things for me:

this is what happened when we were finally allowed back to get the shots:

this is not for the weak/faint of heart...cause this one is of me "being a man":

thats my story and im stickin to it!

lessons learned:
-no matter how hard i try i will always be late getting to the doctor
-just because its an APPOINTMENT doesn't mean that you will be seen anywhere close to the time they tell you
-when estimating time...yeah don't count on me at all or if you do add at least half an hour to an hour onto whatever i say
-amy and i put together actually have a good directional sense about us...separately...not so good
-i have a higher pain tolerance than jon shirley :D

I think the exact verbage was from Jordanne, "What time are you guys doing shots tomorrow?"

Of course that's what one would think ...
